I wanted to accomplish combining the art movement of psychedelics and the aesthetic of Lady Gaga to create a unique album cover. I focused on using Adobe Illustrator to have more control to create a psychedelic element for the album. Starting off with research behind the history of the psychedelic art movement and understanding the aesthetic of Lady Gaga is how I formed my idea of the final design. Taking inspiration of the first psychedelic graphics ever created I focused on incorporating the fluidity of type and shapes in this design.
